Customer Spotlight: Surveys in the Public Transport Sector
CRT has dealt with a number of customers in the public transport sector, showing the ultimate flexibility of our feedback technologies including: touch screen kiosks, tablet PCs, online surveys and SMS text messaging. Our transport feedback solutions have collected customer feedback at airports, train stations, bus stops and motorway services, in order to understand customer behaviours and improve service levels.

Generally at motorway services, train stations and bus stations customers ‘dwell’ time is high as they wait for the next element of their journey. This research is captured by CRT’s feedback systems and results in high response rates and high quality data. That said, in the London Underground scenario, units were placed in ticket halls where dwell time is virtually non-existent and yet good response rates were attained.
In the transport industry, CRT has been able to make use of real time satisfaction feedback. By using this time stamped data, CRT has provided customers with reports detailing variations of customer service levels relating to different time demands through each day. Services can then be re-designed to ensure the best service levels and efficiences can be maintained.
